Cain believes that we must first acknowledge that advantages exist, realize that everything we have is a gift from God, and then steward our privilege for the oppressed.
KEY QUOTE: “It is all a gift, my work ethic, anything, even my mind or making good decisions or my amazing wife or my great family – they are gifts. We don’t earn it, we don’t deserve it, we don’t have a right to any of it, it is a gift…from our God. We don’t have to defend ourselves when someone points out an advantage that we have because we don’t have to rely on our own accomplishments for our justification.”
